Spider-Man and Michelangelo, after making a quick call for reinforcements, namely Dani, run into the portal the being known as Experiment 626 ran into.

"Brilliant observation there Mikey." says Dani

"So, where's the little blue guy?" Mikey.

"Down that way, and moving quickly." replies Spidey

"So let's go after him." Dani again

"Need to leave a tracer here so we don't get lost."

After Pete sticks the tracer to a nearby tree the three rush further into the woods.

"He's still moving, still moving....slowing down now. He's stopped."

The trio pop out of the treeline. The ground ahead of them stops at a cliff, which the blue alien is sitting, looking around with a scared look on his face.

"Oh, the little guy is afraid." says Dani.

626 turns in the direction of the noise, and growls. Dani takes a few steps closer to it.

"Dani..." says Pete.

"Relax bro, if he tries to attack me I'll just go all phasey. Relax little guy, we won't hurt you."

"Meega-o-itume!" Get away from me! 626 scrambles backwards.

"Oh hell. Dani, if he lands in the water he'll sink like a rock!"

"Aggaba!" Stop! 626 scrambles backwards further, losing his footing.

"No!" Dani blasts off, flying down the the cliff and soaring upward to catch the experiment. landing safely back near Pete and Mikey

"Aka boocha! Aka Boocha!" 626 leaps out of Dani's arms, looks back at her questioningly, and dashes back to the portal.

"Well that was odd..." says Pete.

"No kidding." Mikey agrees.

"Uh guys, we do still need to keep him under control."

The trio run back to the Nexus to make sure the experiment hasn't popped it's head into another portal."

And as for why, as corny as thins is, you guys , intentionally or not, taught me that with great power comes great responsibility. I felt had to do this. And responsibility is part of the reason I'm telling you guys this now."

"Okay, you know about Danny Phantom right? And about that ghost girl that's been teaming up with me lately?"

Got the crap beaten out of me by a guy wielding a cricket bat. No worries though, some first aid and a trip to hospital under false pretenses, and I'm feeling as good as new. No crimefighting for a while though unfortunately, which sucks because I want to "talk" to the guy that did this to me.

Little interesting tidbit for you here. Went to a career fair recently, y'know, just so I can have an idea of what to do when I finish up school for good. Anyways there were these ghosthunter husband and wife team there, last name Fenton I think. I would say they're totally nuts, but with the spider-enhanced DNA I'll give em the benefit of the doubt.
